Filipino Startup Network is a new community for Filipinos to connect on the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and everything in between.

We realized that there were Filipinos doing incredible work in spaces where we’re used to being the minority. We see media feature the same founders and VC faces over and over again, while knowing that there were inspiring Filipinos pushing innovation behind the scenes. We also saw Filipino pop culture draw attention to the same professions and stereotypical career paths, rarely showcasing the power in founding a startup, funding and growing an emerging brand.

Our goals are simple:

  1. Create a platform for Filipinos to meet fellow Filipinos in the ecosystem

  2. Cultivate a tight-knit community that learns together and uplifts each other

  3. Change the narrative on the modern Filipino and share our authentic experiences
